Acura - not available in Europe, Honda's luxury brand - at the fair in Chicago unveiled the production version of its smallest model, a sedan ILX. In relation to the conceptual model shown in Detroit in January, the changes are almost imperceptible.
ILX is based on the Acura for the U.S. market Honda Civic, which took over the body structure and propulsion system, although the engine range is a bit different. Fortunately, the exterior styling is completely individual and does not show any similarity to the popular compact model.
Base engine is a 152-horsepower 2.0-liter engine, working with 5-stage automatic transmission, more sporting character also provides a 2.4 four-cylinder engine with 204 hp coupled with a 6-speed manual, and provides for cost-conscious hybrid using the 112-horsepower engine assisted by an engine 1.5 electric power of 20 hp.
