Q2 will be the smallest SUV from Ingolstadt such as having to compete the Mini Countryman and BMW X1. Auto is based on the new MQB platform, which is increasingly used in the Group VAG.
Q2 will be a lean and agile car. The question of engines has not been officially confirmed. So far as the strongest of the varieties of S Q2 is expected to power 225 hp, but it is possible that Audi will also introduce a version of the RS Q2, generating over 300 hp.
Four-wheel drive in the weaker varieties should be available as an option, but the main force pulling the front wheels will be Q2.
We look forward to the first pictures of the new model, which should hit the market in late 2013 and 2014.
