Infiniti LE Concept

Infiniti LE Concept is a luxury electric car first presented at the New York International Auto Show 2012

Production version is expected to be available within two years, and so no later than 2014.

Electric Infiniti sedan yet uses the same package of lithium-ion batteries that Nissan Leaf (the production version will probably collect more energy), while the traction drive is about 25% more power, ensuring adequate for this class of vehicle acceleration.

One of the innovations used in the LE Concept is a contactless charging system with a capacity of 3.3 kW, with which it operates parking assist - auto itself is able to park in a designated area and automatically charged without connecting cable. The Japanese manufacturer did not give up the conventional method of loading, including the fast charging with an external charger CHAdeMO 50 kW.

As befits a luxury brand, LE Concept has a full LED lighting and Infiniti characteristic of high-quality interior trim. Note that the display shows the percentage of battery charge status indicator, which does not have a Nissan Leaf.
