New Lincoln comes with three powertrain options:
- 2-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, a unit of output for this model. It produces 240 hp and 366 Nm of torque
- 3.7-liter V6 drive achieves 300 hp
- Lincoln MKZ is available in a hybrid version. 2-liter unit in this embodiment is combined with an electric motor, which allows for a common power 188 hp, 175 Nm of torque and lower fuel consumption.
Each motor is associated with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The new systems are fitted to improve security, such as interoperating with brake system to prevent collision warning system for lane change and a wide inflatable rear seat belt.
Lincoln MKZ will be new competitors such as BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. For sale in the United States will be in June 2012
